The Cartoon Art Museum of San Francisco will celebrate webcomics with their upcoming "Monsters of Webcomics" exhibition, which will run from August 8 – December 6, 2009.
The exhibition will be in the standard framed art on walls format, but will also include a virtual gallery (ie TV monitor with slideshow) that will highlight dozens of additional online comics. If you'd like to be considered for inclusion in the show you have until July 31st to get some samples to them. They're also looking for a logo, so if you've got mad design skills, you may want to try your hand. Go to the museum site for more details. (Or email me and I'll forward you the submission guidelines.)
